Pneumatic Free Phase Hydrocarbon Remediation Equipment

Active skimming systems that utilize pneumatic pumps to automatically pump separated product up to the surface and into product recovery tanks. This equipment can recover LNAPL to a sheen with systems using floating oleophilic/hydrophobic intake filters. Very little water is produced.

The SpOILer Controllerless Recovery System (CRS) is an efficient product recovery system designed to recover floating hydrocarbons from 2" (5cm) and larger wells and sumps. The SpOILer utilizes an internally regulated pneumatic bladder pump combined with a floating skimmer attachment. This system tracks water level fluctuations in excess of 16" (41cm) with the 4" (10cm) skimmer while removing product to a sheen. This system is extremely flexible for use at a variety of sites, with skimmers available to recover product ranging from gasoline to gear oil over several available travel ranges.

Geotech Guzzler

The Geotech Guzzler is an easy-to-install product recovery system designed for shallow recovery operation with up to 25 feet (7.6m) of suction lift. The pump is usually mounted near the well head on a post or in a 12" (30.5cm) minimum sump and will deliver approximately 0-4 GPM (0-15 LPM) while using 2-6 CFM (.06-.17cmm) of air, depending on the suction lift, pumping rate, and total discharge head.

The PRS (Product Recovery System) Control Panel can be used with most bladder/positive air displacement pumps. The dual timers can be adjusted to vary the intake and discharge cycle time. The pneumatic Tankfull Shut-Off Sensor shuts off the pump when the recovery tank is full. The system will not restart until the manual reset is pressed.

The Geotech Pneumatic Tankfull Shut-Off controller is a self contained system which is used to turn off the air supply to pneumatic pumps or other pneumatic controllers. It is activated when a high liquid level or pressure increase in a recovery tank exists.

Viscosity Test Kit

Geotech Hydrocarbon Viscosity Test Kit

The Hydrocarbon Viscosity Test Kit is used to determine hydrocarbon viscosity vs. applicability of the oleophilic/hydrophobic screen technology. It is especially useful when the Geotech Product Recovery System is going to be used to collect varying hydrocarbons.

The test kit comes with a glass container and lid, floatable test screens of 100 and 60 mesh, sample container, and a syringe for injecting the sample. This screen technology is used on Geotech's product line of assorted intake cartridges and skimmer assemblies.
