Denver, Colorado – January 3, 2018
Geotech Environmental Equipment donated $18,500 to Ronald McDonald House Charities which keep families with sick children together and near the care and resources they need. Since 2005, Geotech has generously donated $166,700.00 to RMHC and has contributed in-kind donations that encompass more than six-hundred hours volunteering to prepare and serve meals to families at Ronald McDonald Houses in the Denver area.
"Geotech is proud to give back to the communities where we live and work, so we are delighted to organize an event that positively influences sick children and their families," said Jeff Popiel, president of Geotech. "When you have so many fun people together on a beautiful course for a great cause, you're bound to have an outstanding turnout."
The annual charity golf tournament aligns with Geotech's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. The company is committed to CSR through sustainability targets that protect the planet, benefit people, and serve society. Geotech employees are encouraged to volunteer for causes that speak to them. Geotech staff have volunteered for organizations that include CASA Voices for Children, Project Worth More, Little League Sports, Boulder MBA, Tread Lightly, Children's Hospital, March of Dimes, No Limit, Madre.org and Glowmundo.org.
The RMHC homes are filled with more than help, they are filled with hope. Many families travel far from home to spend weeks or even months to get treatment for their seriously ill or injured children. RMHC provides a comfortable place for families to call homes so they can stay close by their hospitalized child at little to no cost.
"On behalf of the families of Ronald McDonald House, we offer you our most heartfelt thanks for your support of our mission," wrote Jonna Busack, Development and Communications Manager at RMHC of Denver.
Geotech, with 125 employees worldwide, is a leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of ground water sampling, monitoring and remediation equipment since 1978.
