Lean Tech Manufacturing, Inc., (Lean Tech) a subsidiary of Geotech Environmental Equipment, Inc. (Geotech) announced the acquisition of Leptron Industrial Robotic Helicopters, Inc. (Leptron) and their Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) including the patented RDASS and patent-pending Avenger. Geotech recognizes the value of unmanned aerial vehicles for environmental monitoring and the products that Leptron have developed are technologically superior.
Leptron UAS products are easy to operate and safe, with customizable operational methods and statistical analysis. Leptron was awarded US Patent 8,774,982 on July 8, 2014 for the Multi-Rotor UAS. In addition, the US Army Aviation Engineering Directorate (AED) office granted the Leptron RDASS and Avenger platforms an Airworthiness release for operations by the US Army on February 15, 2015.
