Geotech Wins 2012 Colorado Top Company for Manufacturing Award

On September 12, 2012, Geotech won Colorado’s “most competitive business award”, the Colorado Top Company award for manufacturing at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts.

Accepting the award was Geotech’s fearless leader, Jeff Popiel, who said in his acceptance speech, “Geotech MAKES STUFF!” Furthermore, Jeff said, “We can’t just all walk around giving each other back rubs and pedicures all the time, we have to make stuff!”

This is the 25th Anniversary of the Top Company Awards program, which is considered Colorado's most competitive business award. Companies are judged on three criteria: financial performance, community involvement and outstanding achievement. Finalists are chosen from evaluations by Deloitte, and a panel of business professionals and policy officials then selects the winners.

Geotech was in good company with two of our customers who also won awards at the prestigious ceremony, LT Environmental (http://www.ltenv.com/ ) which won for Consulting and Professional services and DCP Midstream (www.dcpMidstream.com ) in the Energy/Natural Resources category.

Giving back in the community is one of Geotech’s core values. Among other organizations, Geotech participates in the Elyria-Swansea-Globeville Business Association, Denver World Trade Center, Provost Academy Colorado and has raised over $100,000 for the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
