Geotech March 2020 Photo Competition Winner

Dave W. with Golder captured this photo operating trusted Geotech low flow sampling equipment used to sample 40 wells ranging in depth from 20' – 340' deep. The quarry's residences consists of wildlife (not shown) making this particular project an ever enjoyable experience.

The equipment included a Geotech BP Controller 300 PSI.

What constitutes a winning photograph? We'll award points if your photo...

• only shows Geotech equipment in use by real workers at real sites,
• close-ups of the Geotech equipment,
• equipment being used safely in observance of the health and safety procedures required
• has companion photos showing as much of the site and surrounding area as possible (with site owner's permission, of course),
• is well composed: nice framing, interesting background… extra points if the viewer can tell what type of project you were working on,
• has an unusual twist or story: equipment being used overseas, of an interesting project, or for humanitarian purposes… wildlife or Mother Nature butting/intruding… the perfect shot at sunset, etc.
• Digital photos only, in jpg or tiff formats, 2 MB or larger if possible.

Battelle 2020 Chlorinated Conference

The Twelfth International Conference on Remediation of Chlorinated and Recalcitrant Compounds (2020 Chlorinated Conference) has been postponed until June 27-July 1, 2021.

The Twelfth International Conference on Remediation of Chlorinated and Recalcitrant Compounds will be in Portland, Oregon. The Conference is organized and presented by Battelle. Sponsors include other leading organizations active in site remediation research and application. Attendance is expected to be 1,500 to 1,700 scientists, engineers, regulators, and other environmental professionals representing universities, government and regulatory agencies, and R&D and manufacturing firms from around the world.
